Recently Kiran Rao gave an interview where she explained that she is not a reason for the Divorce Between Reena Dutta and Aamir Khan. Kiran Rao’s new series Laaptaa Ladies was recently released at the Box Office which the audience loved a lot because of the fresh star cast.
Kiran Rao And Aamir Khan’s Relationship
Kiran Rao said that romance did not start with his ex-husband Aamir Khan during the Lagaan shooting in 2001. People assumed that I was another woman because Reena Dutta and Aamir Khan had separated.
In an Interview with Zoom Kiran Clarifies that she started dating Aamir Khan when she was assisting Ashutosh Gowariker on the set of Swades In 2004.
Kiran Rao Said “ Lots Of people think That Aamir & I Connected on Lagaan, but we didn’t. Aamir and I connected during the making of Swadesh, he was going to shoot Mangal pandey at that time. We both connected 3 to 4 years after Lagaan shooting. I wasn’t in touch with Him, In fact, I barely spoke to him. I was actually seeing somebody else during Lagaan. When Aamir and I started going out in 2004, everybody thought that This started during the lagaan and this caused the divorce, which was not a fact.
Aamir Khan and Reena Dutta Divorce
Aamir Khan and Reena Dutta separated in 2001, after 1 year of the Lagaan Movie Release. She spoke about how she and Aamir go for couple counseling after marriage. Kiran Rao Further Added “ When you marry someone who has been in another relationship, there is a baggage that you bring that will affect your relationship. Kiran Rao and Aamir Khan married in 2005 and got separated in 2021.
